Growing up as the daughter of an artist, I discovered my creative side early in life. Sneaking into my father’s art studio on the second floor of our house was a weekly adventure for me. Upon graduating from the prestigious Arts Program at Toronto’s Central Tech high school, I continued my education at George Brown College.
While taking interior design at school, I was offered the opportunity to work on my first film. I relished the experience, realizing quickly that the film industry was to be a life long passion, and I have been employed by it the last 20 years. After many years of Set Decoration in film, I made a lateral move into heading a production company and its project development.
I keep my creative muscles flexed with my own side projects - publishing books, designing clothing, and painting.
I’ve lived in Toronto, Vancouver, and New York City – and am currently residing in London and Los Angeles. I’m a member of both IATSE Local 873 Toronto, and IATSE Local 891 Vancouver. A US, Canadian and European Passport keep me well travelled.
